Downhill tracks differ from BX tracks in that they having natural featues and obstacles, and require the rider to be able to control their speed and brings a whole other bunch of skills into play. Downhill is growing in popularity in the UK, and the ATBA-UK is right behind the growth of this exciting discipline.

Freeride
Freeride is non-competitive mountainboarding on a range of natural terrain including woodland and grass slopes. Freeriding is all about enjoying the ride rather than beating another rider or showing-off tricks. Many riders consider it to be mountainboarding at its purest.
