Downhill Championship
Fancy a challenge? The guys at SurfingDirt certainly do. They've ridden the DH course at Cheddar and loved it. Let's face it, everyone loves downhill.
And we've got more video for you to have a look at. If that doesn't whet your appetite for this track, well, we'll just have to work harder.
If you want a track-side seat to watch the action, volunteer to be a marshal.
"What's on", I hear you cry.
Well, now you can find out by checking our new What's On guide to mountainboarding in the UK. And if you've got a comp, get-together or big freeride meet, let us know and we'll add it.
Going vertical
Ride The Hill Vert Jam is going off again this year at XBP in Surrey on Sunday 18th April. Hosted by the BFC and Remolition. Find out more on Facebook.
Also, check the RTH Big Ramp Tour and see where the boys are gonna be over the summer.
Team Challenge
We want more team entering the comps this year, so whether there are three of you or ten of you, whether you ride for a sponsor or with your university club, whether you are all Under 14's or from different categories, you'll want to be competing in the Team Challenge.
Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes
No more one-man timed descents for qualifying in BoarderX comps, oh no, that's for Downhill. It's all about qualifying races this year. Now everyone gets to race!
For freestyle, you'll be doing all your jumps in your category so you don't get cold and bored waiting ages for your turn. And you'll have better judging going on.
If you're interested in becoming a Freestyle Judge, or you've got any questions about these changes, email us at join@atbauk.org
Centre of gravity
It's that time of year, when the birds start singing, flowers start growing and mountainboard centres open for the season ahead. Have a look for your nearest Mountainboard Centre with our handy Centres Map, or be adventurous and visit a centre you've never been to before.
